BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA (January 27, 2017) – At least one person was injured after a two car accident on Friday evening near the 80 Freeway and Highway 13, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around midnight at the intersection of the 80 Freeway and Highway 13 (Also known as Ashby Avenue). A blue Chevrolet pickup truck and a sedan collided, blocking three lanes due to the impact and debris.
At least one person reported injuries in the accident, and the impact was enough to cause serious damage to the sedan and a broken axle on the pickup truck. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
