CONCORD, CALIFORNIA (December 30, 2016) – Two cars collided on Highway 4 on Friday morning, resulting in at least one fatality according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident happened around 10:00 am on Friday morning, on Highway 4 just slightly east of Interstate 680 Freeway. A white sedan and a white Ford minivan collided for unknown reasons, and the impact caused the sedan to crash into the center divider as well.
Paramedics responded to the scene of the collision, and confirmed at least one party dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability in this tragic accident.
