“Pedestrian vs. Train”
HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA (June 18, 2017) – A pedestrian was involved in a train accident near Hesperia Road and Spruce Street early Sunday morning, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. (map)
The San Bernardino County Fire Department was dispatched to a call regarding a pedestrian vs. train accident at approximately 4:00 a.m. A witness heard 3 male voices yelling out for the pedestrian. The witness hear a freight train, then screams.
Emergency crew arrived to find the pedestrian that was struck by the train. The pedestrian was alert and communicating with deputies. The pedestrian was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The injuries of the pedestrian are unknown at this time. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
