On July 5th, Isaak Komisarchik entered an elevator in the elevator for the parking garage at the Woodstream Village Apartments. Once inside, he either became trapped or went into distress, and pushed the emergency button twice. Both times, the alert notified the elevator company, who notified the apartments managers. Staff from Greystar Management Services checked the two working elevators in response, but never checked the inoperable elevator in the parking garage where Isaak Komisarchik was found.
82 year old Isaak Komisarchik was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy is being conducted to ascertain what caused his death. He was pronounced missing after July 5th, and authorities are investigating why they were never notified of the emergency button being pressed.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from West Alliance Injury Lawyers. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
