John Rose, 64, Killed in Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision near Ironwood Avenue and Tuscola Street

MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (August 7, 2017) – 64-year-old John Rose was involved in a vehicle collision near Ironwood Avenue and Tuscola Street Monday evening, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m., when Rose was hit by a vehicle while in the area of Ironwood Avenue and Tuscola Street, According to a Riverside County sheriff’s press statement.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene. Rose sustained “multiple traumatic injuries”. Rose was transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

No other details were immediately available. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the accident.
