DODGE COUNTY, WISCONSIN (August 17, 2017) – A woman that was struck and killed on Highway 151 on Thursday was identified as Kayla Davis, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 5:16 am on Highway 151 in Calamus. A traffic accident had occurred on the highway, and 37 year old Kayla Davis parked her car in the left lane of traffic and got out to help. She was walking in the shoulder of the median when a 28 year old in a pickup truck swerved to avoid Kayla’s SUV, and struck her.
Kayla Davis was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 28 year old Troy Kelm, was unhurt in the collision. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
