MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA (August 21, 2017) – 6 students were injured after a bus overturned in an accident on 105th Street, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened at the corner of SW 105th Avenue and SW 182nd Street. A school bus, registered to Happy Kids and carrying 11 students from Terra Environmental Research Institute was involved in an accident with a Nissan Sentra. Initial reports indicate the Nissan may have run a stop sign.
Six of the eleven students were taken to Jackson South Medical Center. None of their injuries were described as life threatening, but the bus did overturn in the accident. The driver of the Nissan was also injured. The investigation itno the accident is ongoing at this time.
