NAPA: Man Injured While Working at Neighborhood Improvement Project

NAPA, CALIFORNIA (August 15, 2017) – A 24-year-old employee of a city-contracted tree trimming service was involved in an incident in west Napa Tuesday, according to officials.

The incident happened when the employee was working at a neighborhood improvement project on Karen Drive in west Napa. The 24-year-old employee sustained critical injuries The identity of the man has not been released.

The 24-year-old employee was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Cal/OSHA was notified of the incident. However, it was not confirmed as to whether of not they would investigation the incident, according to California Department of Industrial Relations representative Frank Polizzi.
