PACOIMA, CALIFORNIA (June 28, 2017) – Four people were injured in a crash between a fire department ambulance and a passenger car on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:00 am in the 12700 block of West Osborne Street near San Fernando Road. An LAFD ambulance was southbound on San Fernando when it struck a white Toyota Camry that was attempting a left turn onto Osborne Street. The impact forced the Toyota into two sign posts from a nearby business.
Two Los Angeles Fire personnel were injured in the accident, as well as the driver of the white Toyota. The patient inside the ambulance was also rushed to a hospital. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
