PERRIS, CALIFORNIA (January 28, 2017) – One person was hospitalized after a crash on the 215 Freeway near the Ramona Expressway, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:53 pm at the intersection of the 215 Freeway and the Ramona Expressway. A Ford Fiesta sedan and a Volvo collided for unknown reasons, resulting in one of the drivers being hurt.
One of the drivers was rushed to a local hospital by responding paramedics, and the other was seen wandering away wearing a white shirt. The driver that wandered off was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability, and details are limited and unclear at this time.
“It’s unfortunate that motorists under the influence disregard the negative effects that may ensue from driving under the influence. Drunk drivers continue to endanger the safety of all other drivers,” said the attorneys from West Alliance Injury Lawyers, a California car accident and personal injury attorney.
