QUILCENE, WASHINGTON (December 30, 2016) – A small plane reported missing on Thursday was located on Friday morning crashed in Hood Canal, according to a local news source. (map)
The single engine Cessna left Boeing Field in Seattle, heading for Port Angeles on Thursday. It lost contact with air control about 45 minutes later near the Dabob way, after reporting weather issues. The wreckage from the crashed plane was found on Friday morning.
The four people on board the plane were located, and were all tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability in the tragic accident.
