San Diego, CALIFORNIA (December 31, 2016) – An unidentified 26-year-old male pedestrian was fatally injured after being hit by a Nissan Maxima on Saturday night, at approximately 9:20 p.m. The accident occurred on Fairmount Avenue, near Aldine Drive. (map)
The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead after his arrival; no identity has been given at this time.
The 55-year-old male driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and spoke with the police. The investigation is currently ongoing.
