“Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Accident”
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (June 17, 2017) – 71-year-old Charlene Hanson was involved in a pedestrian vs. vehicle crash at the intersection of Civic Center Driver and Lacy Street Saturday evening, according to police and fire officials. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 6:19 p.m. when a Toyota Tacoma, traveling southbound on Lacy Street and turning left on Civic Center, struck Hanson as she was crossing Civic Center Driver traveling northbound, according to Capt. Steve Horner of the Orange County Fire Authority.
Emergency crews responded to the scene. Hanson later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Tacoma remained at the scene and cooperated with police officials. An investigation is ongoing.
