SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (July 13, 2017) – Five teenagers were injured after a 16 year old boy with no license lost control of a vehicle on Greenville Street, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on Thursday around 11:00 am in the 1600 block of Greenville Street. A 16 year old unlicensed driver that was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was driving a silver Honda Accord at a high rate of speed when he lost control and jumped the sidewalk, slamming into two teenage pedestrians and then hitting a pole.
The two pedestrians were rushed to a hospital. The driver of the car, as well as his two teenage passengers, were also rushed to a nearby hospital. At least two of those injured were reportedly listed as trauma patients. The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
