SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (June 23, 2017) – Pit bulls attacked a man and bit him near Alton Avenue on Friday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The pitbulls were first reported to authorities as being loose around 9:20 am when they attacked and killed a cat in the 3100 block of Lowell Street. Then, they attacked a man and his small dog in the area of Bristol Street and Alton Avenue.
The man did sustain injuries, and was hospitalized for treatment. The pitbulls were located and taken by animal control, and authorities are attempting to locate the owner.
“Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent party who caused the accident,” said the attorneys from West Alliance Injury Lawyers, a personal injury law firm. “In this case, the responsible party would most likely be the owner of the dogs.”
