GILLESPIE COUNTY, TEXAS (September 10, 2017) – Shane Lee Buck was tragically identified as the pilot that was killed on Sunday in a small plane crash in south central Texas, according to a local news source. (map)
Shane Lee Buck was piloting a single propeller Rans S-6 Coyote plane with a 9 year old passenger on board when the plane crashed into a field south of Stonewall, Texas, which is about 12 miles from Fredricksburg.
Sadly, both Shane Lee Buck and his juvenile passenger were pronounced dead in the accident. The FAA is on scene and conducting an investigation into the crash.
