SOMERSET, CALIFORNIA (December 30, 2016) – One person was injured in a dog bite attack mid-morning on Friday after an auto accident on String Canyon Road, according to a local news source. (map)
According to a California Highway Patrol report, a silver 4 door sedan was involved in a rollover collision for an unknown reason at or near String Canyon Road and Eagle Hill Road. Moments after the collision, the driver of the car was bitten and attacked by a dog at the accident site.
The injured party was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing and the identity of the dog’s owner is not known.
