STOCKTON: One Killed, Two Injured in Crash on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Airport Way

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (June 28, 2017) – Two Stockton police officers were injured and a man was killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:30 am near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Airport Way. A Stockton police cruiser carrying two officers was responding to a request for backup when it collided with a passenger car for an unknown reason.

The man driving the passenger car was tragically killed in the accident. The officers were both taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of mild to moderate injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability
