WASHINGTON, DC (August 20, 2017) – A bus almost crashed into a building on Sunday off H Street, leaving several people with injuries according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened in the 600 block of H Street Nw, near the Capitol One Arena (formerly Verizon Center). An accordion bus jumped the sidewalk and crashed into a tree, a moped, and a metro police car before coming to rest just short of a restaurant.

Several people were seen out on the sidewalk recieveing treatment, but the condition of those involved is unknown. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
