WEST ALLIS: Child Injured as Playground Slide Explodes at Reservoir Park

“Playground Slide Explosion”

WEST ALLIS, WISCONSIN (June 28, 2017) – A hole formed at the base of a plastic playground twisted slide at Reservoir Park in Wisconsin. A 9-year-old child sliding on the plastic slide sustained injuries as he fell into the large gap that the hole created. In addition, the slide seemed to “explode” or puff outwards, as it exploded at its base. The child’s mother awaits answers from the city as well as the slide’s manufacturers.
The area has been secured and the slide has been taken down for further investigation.
